Why We’re Doing This

Cancer touches everyone. Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is one of the top five cancer research centres in the world — leading global breakthroughs in stem cell discovery, immunotherapy, personalized treatments, and advanced detection technologies.

On December 10th, AM 530 dedicates more than twelve hours to sharing powerful stories of survivors, families, healthcare teams, and researchers — inspiring hope and supporting a future without the fear of cancer.

This special broadcast supports the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, which funds breakthrough research and world-class care at one of the top five cancer research centres in the world. Every dollar raised fuels discoveries that are transforming cancer treatment and patient care — here in Canada and across the globe.

By submitting your story, you grant AM 530 and Evanov Communications permission to share your submission, in full or in part, on-air, online, and across our social and digital platforms as part of our Radiothon coverage and related promotional efforts. Submissions may be edited for clarity, brevity, or format, and not all stories will be selected for broadcast or publication.
